At the end of the class, we require each student to demonstrate proficiency with a weapon by loading the weapon, discharging 10 or more live rounds into the target, checking for clear, unloading and loading another magazine, and repeating the process.
3. I do my best to make sure the class is fun while educational, and I make sure that I engage with everyone in the class. I feel the more we laugh, the more we learn. HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE?
You must be 21 years of age or older.
You must be able to demonstrate competency with a firearm.
Unless you are serving overseas in the United States Armed Forces, you must currently reside in the United States and be a U.S. citizen or deemed a lawful permanent resident alien by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. If you are serving overseas in the U.S. Armed Forces, submit a copy of your deployment documentation with your application. Those who are Resident Aliens must provide a valid Permanent Resident Alien card.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A FLORIDA RESIDENT?
No, you do not need to be a Florida Resident.
WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST, BESIDES YOUR CLASS FEE?
You will pay the Lee County Tax Collector $119,00, which pays for your
Application, Fingerprints, and Photo.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE PERMIT?
After completing the class, you will make an Appointment with the Lee County Tax Collector by going online and following the prompt at this link. www.leetc.com.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AND WHEN DOES IT EXPIRE?
The class is about 1 hour.
It generally takes 4 to 6 weeks but the state has 90 days to approve you.
The permit is good for 7 years with an easy renewal process.

We are training facility located in Cape Coral conveniently close to Fort Myers and North Fort Myers. Our indoor Shooting range has 5 Lane and is handgun only. To book a Concealed Carry Class or Firearms Training use our online booking service. We supply everything you need to apply for your Permit.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS
All you need is a pen and your drivers licences. We supply everything you need to apply for your permit including the weapon, ammo, and safety gear.

"Last week I took the Conceal carry class with John. He was amazing, made the time fly, by keeping us engaged and entertained. Yesterday I was able to go out with him to his private range for shooting lessons. Although I grew up in a house full of guns, I had never fired one until yesterday. John was an amazing instructor. He taught the fundamentals from loading the magazine, to proper grip, proper stance, shooting a single target, multiple targets, shooting while moving... I left the range feeling comfortable holding, loading, and firing a gun. I would recommend John's class to anyone, be it your first time shooting, or just a refresher. He is patient and yet knows when he can push a person a little further.
